Elementary Division (Grades K through 5)
Turning Point’s Elementary Division offers students the highest standard of education in an engaging and fulfilling environment. The academic, emotional, social, and physical needs of students are all addressed in a balanced and creative curriculum taught by an experienced and dedicated faculty.
Opportunities for leadership are presented frequently in the Elementary Division, while our focus on individualized instruction supports students in achieving their full potential. Developing motivated students willing to take intellectual and creative risks is an underlying tenet of our instructional practice.
Our Elementary Division provides a diverse, skill-based curriculum. Language arts, mathematics, and social science are taught at each level by Head Teachers in community-focused classrooms, with additional instruction by Specialist Teachers in athletics, library, music, Spanish, technology, and visual and performing arts. Relationships between these disciplines are emphasized, presenting a program of study that inspires natural curiosity and creativity.
