Parents and caregivers are invited to join us on campus for a morning Info Session followed by a brief tour. Several dates are available during the fall season. Please fill out an inquiry form to learn more and RSVP.

Complete the online application
After submitting your inquiry, you will receive access to our Admissions portal, where you can complete your application. If you have already submitted an inquiry and are ready to apply, or you need to work on an application in progress, click the link below.
Turning Point School is now welcoming applications for the 2027-28 school year and beyond. We can also accommodate mid-year admissions for select grade levels.
Throughout the admissions process, you will have several opportunities to explore our programs, visit campus, and get a genuine feel for our dynamic community.
ADMISSIONS PROCESS:
- Complete an online inquiry to receive communications and event invitations
- Visit us on campus for an Info Session and/or our Turning Point School Open House
- Complete an online application
- Schedule an in-person Family Conversation (our version of an “interview”)
- Submit recommendations and school records
- Register your child for a student visit/assessment
- Apply for tuition assistance (if applicable)
NOTES
Birthdate eligibility for the 2027-28 academic year:
- Preschool: Born 9/1/2023 – 11/30/2024
- Children entering Preschool under the age of 3 will attend two years of Preschool
- Independent potty training is required before the start of the school year
- Pre-K: Born 9/1/2022 – 8/31/2023
- Children must be 4 years old to enter Pre-K
- Kindergarten: Born 9/1/2021 – 8/31/2022
- Grade 1: Born 9/1/2020 – 8/31/2021
- Must have successfully completed Kindergarten
We do not require the ISEE as part of the Middle School admissions process.
ADMISSIONS PROGRAM INFO SESSIONS
Our Info Sessions provide an introduction to Turning Point School and an overview of how our elements of dynamic learning come together to support a balanced education for each child. These sessions are for parents and caregivers only, last one hour, and are followed by an optional 30-minute student-led campus tour.

Turning Point School OPEN HOUSE
Step inside our classrooms and experience the energy of teaching and learning at Turning Point School. As your child engages in hands-on activities alongside our dedicated faculty, you will gain insight into our unique, integrative program.
Parents/caregivers and applicant children are invited to attend. The event lasts approximately 60–90 minutes. Event timing and additional details will be shared upon registration.
APPLY ONLINE
After submitting an inquiry, you will receive access to our online Admissions portal, where you can complete your application and register for events.
A $150 non-refundable application fee is required. Application fee waivers are available for families applying for tuition assistance. Please contact our office for more information.
IN-PERSON FAMILY CONVERSATION
An in-person family conversation allows us to get to know your child and family while learning more about your educational goals, values, and expectations. All custodial parents/caregivers are required to attend this 45-minute session so we may honor each family member’s perspectives.
Please note that the tour and conversation are for primary adult parents/caregivers only.
STUDENT VISIT/ASSESSMENT
The Student Visit/Assessment gives our teachers the opportunity to get to know your child and their learning style. Visits may take place during the school day or outside of regular school hours.
Submit Recommendations and School Records
To apply for the priority deadline, required forms must be submitted between November 1, 2026, and January 8, 2027. If you apply during our rolling admissions phase (mid-year), we will coordinate timing with you. We encourage you to share these forms with your child’s current school as early as possible to ensure timely receipt.

- Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Applicants
- If your child is currently enrolled in school or daycare, please submit the recommendation form directly to our office
- If your child attends a toddler group, a recommendation is not required, though it may be helpful in determining readiness
- We also welcome any supplemental information from childcare providers
- Grades 1-4 Applicants
- Submit two full years of report cards plus the first marking period of the current school year (or any school records available)
- Submit a Teacher Recommendation Form from the current homeroom/head teacher
- Candidates currently attending private schools must also submit the Administrative Recommendation Form
- Grades 5-7 Applicants
- Submit two full years of report cards plus the first marking period of the current school year (or any school records available)
- Submit two Teacher Recommendation Forms, preferably one from a math teacher and one from an English teacher
- Alternatively, you may submit one recommendation from the current teacher and one recommendation from the previous year’s teacher or another educator who knows the student
- Candidates currently attending private schools must also submit the Administrative Recommendation Form

Applications are now open for families interested in the 2027–28 school year. Inquiries for school years beyond 2027-28 are also welcome.

At Turning Point School, tuition is intentionally designed to be comprehensive and all-inclusive, supporting a dynamic learning experience in which every student can grow into their best self.
Rather than billing separately for core elements of the program, tuition reflects the full scope of learning, care, and community that define a TPS education.
Our all-inclusive tuition supports exceptional faculty and staff, meaningful learning experiences across disciplines, and consistent access to the resources that foster intellectual, social, emotional, ethical, and physical growth. This approach allows families to engage fully in the school experience with clarity, transparency, and minimal additional fees.
Tuition rates listed below apply to the 2026-27 school year.
Early Childhood Division (Preschool and Pre-K)
$38,325 (Includes Morning + After School Care)
Elementary Division (GRADES K-4)
$45,308 (Includes Morning Care)
Middle School Division (Grades 5-8)
$50,795 (Includes Morning Care)
Placement Fee
A one-time placement fee of $2,000 is required for each new student. This fee supports onboarding, program preparation, and enrollment-related planning.
Payment Plans
Families may choose from three payment options: one, two, or ten installments. Tuition includes a cash/check discount. Credit card payments are billed at the non-discounted rate, up to 3.05% higher than the cash price.
A non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of tuition is due upon enrollment and is applied to the total tuition balance.
Our admissions team is happy to answer questions and help families determine the best payment option for their needs.
Tuition Assistance
Turning Point School is committed to making our Preschool–Grade 8 program accessible to families for whom tuition would otherwise be a barrier.
Families who may need tuition assistance are encouraged to apply at the same time they submit their child’s Admissions application. Tuition Assistance awards typically range from 10%-80% of tuition.
If tuition assistance would be an important factor in your ability to enroll, we strongly recommend applying in your first year of admission, as funding is not guaranteed for families who do not apply initially. Applying for Tuition Assistance does not affect admissions decisions.
The Tuition Assistance Committee reviews each application holistically, taking into account income, assets, liabilities, and other factors. While there is no strict income threshold, families with annual incomes below $250,000 and one enrolled child may be eligible for some level of assistance. Please note that not all families who apply will qualify, and funding is limited.
Applications for the 2027-28 school year open in November and are due by January 21, 2027. For more information, please contact the Admissions Office.
If you need help completing your application, Clarity offers in-app support and email support in English and Spanish at support@claritytuition.com. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.
*Please note that the Tuition Assistance budget for the current school year has been fully allocated. As a result, Tuition Assistance is not available to families applying on a rolling admissions basis. Tuition Assistance is, however, available for Fall 2027.
