From the Office of Admissions

At Turning Point School, our focus is to nurture each child’s complex cognitive, social, emotional, physical, ethical, and creative development. We seek to enroll students with strong academic promise and to engage with families who share our philosophy of educating the whole child throughout their formative years of learning.

We recognize that finding the school that best fits your family is a journey. The admissions team at Turning Point is committed to thoughtfully guiding you through the steps of the application process. Through this process, you will be able to observe how our dedicated faculty foster each child’s innate inquisitiveness and maximize their individual potential. As we learn about your family and the goals you have for your child, we will also share with you the perspective of our current students, parents, faculty, and staff. Like our community, the admissions process is designed to be warm and personable for parents and applicants alike.

Our success is measured in the matriculation of globally aware graduates who possess not only academic prowess, but also strong character, resiliency, and a joy for life-long learning. We are proud to offer families in the greater Los Angeles area a premier preschool through middle school program. We invite you to visit our campus and see for yourself what sets Turning Point apart!

Payment Plans

A $2,000 non-refundable deposit, which is applied towards tuition, is due upon enrollment.

Affording Turning Point

We are dedicated to making a Turning Point School education affordable to all qualified students without regard to financial ability. Tuition assistance is available to qualified students that would not be able to attend without this support.

The Tuition Assistance Committee reviews each family’s application and allocates tuition assistance with a goal of assisting families in paying what they can afford. It is determined by evaluating a family’s ability to contribute to their child’s educational costs, and uses information that includes the family’s household income, their tax returns, and personal statement, among other factors. We cannot guarantee that all who apply will qualify, or that our budget will meet the needs of everyone. However, we encourage all new and returning families who will need assistance to apply.

Applications for tuition assistance for new and returning families are available through ISM FAST. Families must apply by the January 14, 2019 deadline for consideration. For additional information, please contact our Admissions office at (310) 841-2505 x128.
