May the Fourth Be With You!

In celebration of "May the Fourth be With You,"  Grade 3 began their Star Wars-themed "Cuerpo" collage project in Spanish class. Students collaborated to choose a Star Wars character for the head of their "cuerpo" and then up-cycled old brochures and magazines to create a body. The last step was labeling the parts of the body using Spanish vocabulary. Students had so much fun creating silly bodies for their favorite and legendary Star Wars characters. In the words of Yoda, "Que la fuerza te acompañe!" which means, "May the force be with you!" Student work will be displayed outside the Elementary Spanish room in Building 2.
