Culver City Fire Department Visit Grade 2
Posted 09/26/2017 06:02PM

To culminate the fire safety unit in Grade 2, firefighters from the Culver City Fire Department visited Turning Point second graders this week. They learned how to create a fire safety plan, saw what a firefighter in full gear looked like, explored the fire truck, and even got to hold lifesaving tools such as the Jaws of Life. The students asked many insightful questions and were most excited to learn about the different types of hoses and other firefighting tools. Thank you CCFD for such a wonderful hands-on opportunity!
