Daycare

TURNINGPOINT offers daycare from 2:45-6:00 p.m. daily in addition to morning care from 7:30-8:30 a.m. Daycare personnel provide a safe, nurturing after-school environment.

The children are divided into two groups. Primary and K-1 children are supervised for one hour on the primary playground, then move inside for snack and play. K-1 children begin their homework while Primary children work on art projects and other activities provided by the daycare supervisors.

The Elementary and Middle School children participate in various sports on the elementary playground from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. At 4:00, they also move indoors for an hour study period. After completing any homework, the children may choose from a variety of indoor activities including board games and art projects. At the end of the day, the two groups combine in the Primary daycare room, providing a valuable socialization period for both the younger and older children.
