Multi-Purpose Theater
The new 416 seat theater will provide our students with a new stage for dance, music and drama performances. Faculty and students will have the opportunity to mount productions that have technical needs beyond our current capability. It will be used as a teaching laboratory for students who want to explore lighting, sound and projection. At other times the theater will become a screening room for documentaries, movies and multi-media presentations created by our students.
This theater will also serve as a venue for meetings, speeches, debates, convocations and other school events. Some of the most memorable events for our students including the candle lighting ceremony and graduation will take place in the theater. The community will be welcomed on campus for lectures, performances and other special events.
Theater Lobby
The Theater Lobby is two stories high and will welcome students, parents, prospective families, alumni, and visitors to our new academic facility.
Audiences will enter the theater through the lobby for performances, lectures, and other special events.
Green Rooms (2)
The green rooms will be used for our students, lecturers and other visiting artists to wait before being called for their appearance, or to wait between appearances. The green rooms will double as dressing rooms for performers.
Music Center
The Music Center will include new music, band and dance rooms. These dedicated rooms will enable us to significantly expand and enhance our performing arts programs.
Art Studios (2)
Two new art studios similar to those found in high schools will allow for more mentor/apprentice work and take students farther than traditional classroom instruction.
Labyrinth Atrium
The Labyrinth Atrium will symbolize the intuition, creativity and imagery that is nurtured through a Turning Point education. The three student-designed labyrinths in the atrium represent the fact that our students are pathmakers, knowing that there is never a straight path and that throughout their life journeys they will choose different paths.
Instructional Support Center
The Instructional Support Center will be a flexible space that when be used by faculty and students for a variety of purposes, including technology, instruction and special projects.
Middle School Center
The Middle School Center will help create a strong sense of identity for the Middle School students by providing them with a place to gather and socialize. It will also provide a place for them to work on team projects and to eat lunch. more information
Playing Field
The new all-weather field is almost an acre of space and will provide expanded opportunity for students across class levels to be outdoors—simply playing or participating in individual and team sports or fitness and conditioning activities.
Outdoor Environmental Classroom
The Outdoor Environmental Classroom will teach our students to use less energy, to use less water, to use more products that come from the recycling bin and to use natural day lighting and solar energy. Students will be greeted by inviting fragrances, striking colors and shapes, interesting areas for explorations and sustainable practices. There will be built in learning opportunities, including a weather station, a sundial and solar panels Outdoor classroom activities will be integrated with other learning activities focused on environmental challenges, including global warming, air pollution, recycling, biodiversity, renewable energy, deforestation and land use. more information
Language Center
The new Language Center includes three Language Labs. Our students’ desires to relate to others through learning a foreign language will be nourished through the Language Labs that will utilize audio and video instruction to help students learn Latin or Spanish or to explore another languages, like Mandarin, Arabic or French, that might be of interest to them. With modern equipment in the lab, students will learn proper pronunciation from native speakers. more information
Multi-Media Center
The Multi-Media Center will be a place where the boundaries between disciplines become fluid. It will be a place where visual arts meets performing arts, where students’ capacities for self-expression evolve with the web, and where students will design their own interactive games. In another part of the center students will be broadcasting news about the lacrosse team’s recent victory. more information
Screening Room
The screening room will provide students with a space to view their productions.
In addition, it will serve as an editing room for students to perfect their works. A multi-purpose space, it will also be used for lectures. more information
Faculty Room
The faculty room will be a central gathering location for faculty to interact, work and eat. It will include a small kitchen, tables and chairs. more information

Interior Gardens (2) and Atriums (2)
Oxygen generating gardens and atriums to assist with the quality of air. The atriums will provide natural lighting. more information
Board Room
The Board Room will be used as a conference room, not only for Board of Trustees, but for other school meetings and activities. more information
PSA Center
The PSA Center will provide our dedicated volunteers with a place for committee meetings and to work on special events. more information
Conference Room and Meeting Rooms
The a Conference Room located on the first floor and two meeting rooms on the second floor will provide additional venues to accommodate the school's busy schedule of meetings and activities. more information |
