Development 2007-2008
Turning Point School's Development strategy includes three distinct fundraising programs coordinated to provide support for the current and future needs of our students. To accomplish our fundraising goals we rely on a very broad base of time, talent, and generosity.
Annual Giving Campaign
The cost of a Turning Point School education is greater than the tuition families pay. Each year we ask every family to make a personally meaningful gift to cover the gap between tuition and the actual annual cost for faculty and staff, curriculum, programs, and other annual costs associated with the operating budget. This strategy enables us to keep tuition as low as possible by using tax deductible gifts to fund a portion of the exceptional educational program for which we are known.

PSA Activities
Included in the wide range of activities in support of the school, the PSA is responsible for two fundraising activities - the Hoop-A-Thon and the Silent Auction - one family and one adult event. The funds raised through these two events are earmarked for specific extraordinary projects or acquisitions not covered by the annual operating budget.

Major Gifts Program
Funds raised through this program enable the school to expand and grow. In the past, Major Gift funds were used to help acquire and build this campus. Major Gifts are now used to pay down the remaining debt on the facility, and as we move into the future, will be used to prioritize and meet the growth opportunities delineated in our new strategic plan.
