Book Fair

Students from Primary through Level 5 visit this popular event with their classes, and parents are encouraged to join their children in browsing the bookshelves. The fair, an extension of the reading appreciation curriculum, offers a wide array of choices, from early-reading picture-books to classics and popular kids' fiction for the "tweens." Frequent overlaps between classes give the older kids a chance to introduce the younger kids to books they themselves loved back in Primary school. Parents accompanying the classes can buy books for their kids on the spot, and students can earmark their choices for parents to purchase after school.
