Primary : Physical

Play and non-competitive developmental athletics build students’ coordination and teamwork skills. They learn control of their bodies and practice physical self-improvement. Concepts of personal hygiene, cleanliness, and nutrition are also presented at this impressionable age.

Hoop-a-Thon

While Turning Point School has several fund raising events throughout the year, the Hoop-a-Thon is the one such event that is produced for the students, by the students. Our students compete to sign up the most possible parents, neighbors and friends to sponsor their effort. Supporters pledge cash for every basket the student makes. Many of our sponsors come to the school to watch and cheer them on. Not only does this event allow students to be active participants in improving their community—it allows them to have fun as well. And with all the friends, games, and excitement, most of our Primary division students have more fun than anyone.
