Admission Procedures

1. Visit Turning Point School
Prospective Primary and Elementary parents attend an Open House or Tuesday Tour; request an application packet.
2. Submit an Application
Submit a completed application for admission and application fee to the school office as early as possible. Primary and K-1 due December 15, 2007, Grades 2-5 and Middle School due January 15, 2008.
3. Take the ISEE exam
Middle School applicants must submit a Student Questionnaire and take the ISEE exam. Official results of the test must be sent directly to sent to us by ISEE. Our registration number is 054174.
4. Attend a Classroom Observation
Parents of Primary and Elementary applicants attend a Classroom Observation and Program Orientation on a designated Thursday morning, from 8:45 - 11:00 a.m.
5. Attend an Evening Open House
Prospective Middle School students and their parents may attend an evening Open House in November or January, either before or after submitting an application.
6. Interview
Parent Interviews and Student Visits/Interviews will be conducted in December, January, February, and March.
7. Receive Notification
Families will be notified of the Admission Committee's decision by the end of March.
Turning Point School admits students to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. Tuition covers the cost of providing the basic academic program for each student. It also covers instructional materials, receipt of one yearbook per student, PSA fees, snacks/milk/juice, study tours, and overnight educational trips, if applicable.

Turning Point School subscribes to the principles of the School and Student Service for Financial Aid in Princeton, New Jersey, which assesses the family's ability to contribute to the student's educational costs. A Tuition Assistance application form is located in each admissions packet.
