Admission Procedures

1. Visit Turning Point School
Prospective Primary and Elementary parents attend an Open House or Tuesday Tour; request an application packet.
2. Submit an Application
Submit a completed application for admission and application fee to the school office as early as possible. Primary and K-1 due December 15, 2009; Grades 2-5 and Middle School due January 29, 2010.
3. Take the ISEE exam

Middle School applicants must submit a Student Questionnaire and take the ISEE exam. Official results of the test must be sent directly to sent to us by ISEE. Our registration number is 054174.

Turning Point is a ISEE test site on December 5, 2009 for grades 5-8.

4. Attend a Classroom Observation
Parents of Primary and Elementary applicants attend a Classroom Observation and Program Orientation on a designated Thursday morning, from 8:45 - 11:00 a.m.
5. Attend an Evening Open House
Prospective Middle School students and their parents attend the evening Open House on November 12, 2009 or January 21, 2010, either before or after submitting an application.
6. Interview
Parent Interviews and Student Visits/Interviews will be conducted in December, January, February, and March.
7. Receive Notification
Families will be notified of the Admission Committee's decision by the end of March.

Tuition covers the cost of providing the academic program for each student. It also covers instructional materials, receipt of one yearbook per student, study tours, and overnight educational trips, if applicable.

Tuition Assistance is based on the demonstrated need by assessing the family's ability to contribute to the student's educational costs through FAST. A Tuition Assistance request form is located in each admissions packet.
